We woke up this morning in Durango not having to rush to be anywhere.
It was nice..
It was nice..
First we took pictures by the river. I love water, especially the river. There is just something
about it that is so soothing and calm. I would love to one day go river rafting. Of coarse at
like a lever 3 at the max..lol

Then we ate breakfast at Denny's and walked around the shops in town. Of coarse the last shop we went to it started raining.. Again... Thankfully it was nice and sunny the whole time we were shopping. We packed up the kids in the car for our stormy drive to Chama New Mexico.
Chama is a very small town with absolutely nothing to do. The reason we decided to stay here was for the millions of stars you see at night and all the animals you see during the day, but considering how the weather has been, I am not counting on seeing anything.
Once we arrived to our hotel we unpacked and got right back in the car to eat dinner. We went to this little hole in the wall place that had good food but poor service. Considering we were the only family in there we should have had excellent service. But the lady forgot stuff and was not very attentive.
Then we went for another drive to god knows where I was just following the leader. I thought my dad had a plan of somewhere to go but we just ended up driving through the county in hopes to find wildlife. We saw one deer on the way out of town.. that's it.. No luck, but we did see tons of buffalo!
We drove back and went to the store to stock up on more snacks because we will be on another train ride tomorrow for 6 hours one way and taking a 45 minute bus ride back. Kind of stressed about that seeing how the kids can't sit still... EVER!! Lol..
Well I'm going to sleep now! Good night from Chama, New Mexico!
