I am wiped! We woke up early this morning and went to crappy Burger King for breakfast. I am being particularly blunt about that because I never eat there and today just confirmed why.
We walked in and ordered our food, the guy who was taking our order was also making the food, talking drive though orders and managing this place on his own. Now every one knows that when you're in business you need to act professional regardless how stressed you are. This manager was upset and stressed out because two of his employees walked out and he had no one. He was complaining about the situation and on top of that was complaining about his hours and he's not getting paid enough. He was also throwing stuff around and making me feel very uncomfortable. It was just ridiculous.
We then headed out to enjoy slide rock. I can't tell you how beautiful this place is! Pictures don't even do it justice. The rock slide was a blast but the water was freezing. Ethan was even brave enough to go rock jumping! When we decided to leave it started raining. It's been a thing around here. One minute it's sunny an hot then next there is a full on thunderstorm and down pour!
Not into it at all! He decided to hang out and eat..lol
I hate wearing shirts in the water but I wasn't going to risk my
bikini top mysteriously disappearing on the slide. lol

We came back to the hotel and swam in the pool. The kids suddenly have so much energy this vacation that we have to keep them busy. We also were waiting for my sisters friend who shes known since elementary school to come visit us, she lives in Flagstaff Arizona so it is really close to where we're staying. She used to go with us on our family vacations. We all went out to dinner and said our goodbyes an now we're back.
We were able to see the coolest tarantula! It was huge! I have never seen a tarantula out side of a zoo before and it was just hanging out in the tree next to our room. I was a little freaked out but when I found out they won't hurt you I was cool. It confirmed it even more when my dad started touching it. We decided to name him Bob. Well it was a fun productive day. Now I'm going to lay here and listen to the thunder.
