Another busy day in beautiful Sedona! We woke up and let the kids burn off their never ending energy in the court yard. When all the cousins get together it's like a tornado of energy. It's very tiring and we're constantly telling one of them or all of them at once to calm their voice and calm down.
Today was dedicated to shopping. We went into town and ate breakfast at a
cafe that had a wonderful view.
Then we walked through all the shops. I love how they dye white t shirts with the red rock.
That stuff stains and there is red everywhere!
After we shopped we decided to check out an old mining city called Jerome.
We went to a museum and saw some really cool stuff.
We then decided to go to an old ghost town. Their is a little shop and on the other side a junk yard/ old ghost town/mining / saw mill. It looked more like a junk yard but honestly it was really cool junk! The kind that's worth tons of money. They had a huge machine that makes thunder sounds, there was a saw mill and a little farm. The kids loved feeding the animals.
It was super hot and we were over it and just wanted to go back and swim. We went from 100 degree weather to 78 degree weather when we got back. The thunder an lightning started up again so the pool was out of the question. We decided to check on BOB. That's the name of the tarantula we met. He's still hanging around. My nephew got brave and pet him.
After hanging around the hotel for awhile we decided to go to Thai palace for dinner. They have awesome food by the way. The kids actually ate all their dinner. That's a first.
We're back and the kids are already passed out and my sister and I are watching the season finale of The bachelor. See you tomorrow in Colorado!!
