Movie Date

Yesterday was a semi busy day. I had my to do list that involved waiting around for a repairman, waiting for a lady to come pic up something from me, go to the mall to let the kids play in the water, go grocery shopping then head over to the school to see what teachers my kids got assigned to. Well things got a little switched up. 

After waiting around for people I took the kids to the mall to play in the water fountains. I did my usual and Facebook what we were up to. My sister happened to see it and told me she was heading to the same mall to take her kids to the movies to see Ice Age and wanted us to go. So instead of grocery shopping we went to the movies!

So I have to complain for just a minute... Since when did the movies cost so darn much!!!

I bought 4 movies tickets, 1 adult and three kids. That cost me $35.. Then we bought snacks, which we normally go buy at the store ahead of time. We bought 4 drinks, 3 candies and a popcorn. We spent $43 just on that! The whole movie trip was $80!!!! Like Really! I'm sorry but next time I'll wait until the movie comes out on DVD.

I ended not going grocery shopping but I did stop by the school to see what teachers my kids have. They put out a list on the door so you can go anytime. I found Ethan's teacher but I was bumbed that I did not find Laurens name! So now I have to take her to Kindergarden on Monday with no assigned teacher. What a sad way to start off your first day of Kindergarden! I'm pissed that I have to go to the office and straighten this out. This is supposed to be a high rated school..
