Schools Removing Homework! RT

Have you ever heard the saying

"Work is at work and home is at home?"

Well do you think schools should honor that saying for school kids? I kind of am leaning towards the idea of schools not sending home homework for kids. Why? Because kids spend a long time at school learning, it may not seem long for us but it is for them. The last thing kids want to do is homework when they get home from school. I feel that kids should do all their learning at school and family time at home.  Kids are much happier and don't dred school as much. Don't get me wrong, if your child wants to do home work then more power to them! I just feel that anything that has to do with school should be left at school, of coarse with the exception of school projects. 

Another thing I found very interesting is that some K-12 schools are actually having their students complete and turn in their homework online! Who finds this awesome?! I do! Schools would save SO much money on paper and of coarse, safe the earth! Kids love using the computer and I believe if schools sent home homework at least make it more interesting.
