That Old Tree

This weekend was great! 

We love spending time with family, especially my parents who live pretty close. Though the drive up there Saturday morning was pretty scary. The fog can get pretty dense while you're on the freeway and sometimes you can't see 5 feet in front of you. But as soon as you are over the mountain the sky is clear as can be! The kids enjoyed swimming with their cousins since is was raining at our house.

Caden has this new face he makes. He always surprises me!

Sunday morning I went up to my parents other mountain house to help them maintain it. This is the house I grew up in for 18 years since I was one.  This tree has been here since my parents bought the house. The knot, where the arrow is, used to be at foot level and we'd always watch it grow! Now that same knot in the tree is way up there. Love this tree..
