Waking up at 5 a.m in the morning is not for me.. But considering we were going to Vegas

for my sisters birthday, I made an exception. LOL. I don't know why I am posting this picture,

maybe it's becasue I ate a cupcake, or the fact that I started my period, really I did... or the fact that I want to rub it in at how good & confident I feel condidering I did pop out three 8 pound kids. I'm not over weight or underweight. I EAT HEALTHY, and keep busy and have GREAT genes. I earned it. SO here you go! And they say perfect is boring.. HA!

We had a blast in Vegas celebrating my sisters birthday! We were treated like royalty

with our very own Cabana that conveniently had private balcony, TV, fridge full of food, buckets of beer, sofas our very own waiter who waited on us hand and foot. Oh yes! That's how we roll.

The pool was awesome! We took one last dip before we left and they

were in there cleaning the glass. The guy with the net has to keep the sharks away!

After a super fun day in the pool we went to Fremont Street.

The cool thin was when e went it was getting dark and all the lights were on.

But it didn't help the fact that I am truly terrified of heights!

We didn't do much on Fremont street. There was definitely lots to look at, like fat guys dressed in

a cupids costume wearing a thong, I swear I saw Snoop Dog, No joke.

It's not a place for kids, I thought.

We decided last minute to go to

my parents house for some more fun!

And now were home... and I am going to sleep in because

I love nature!

Tonight as we were leaving my parents we noticed the moon and how big and beautiful it was. My hubby was driving and I was trying to get a picture on my Iphone. No luck, So I pulled out the Digital and took a picture. I don't know how or why it came out like this but I am glad! I love it!

Oh, the bliss of sleeping in, traveling, being spontaneous, lounging by the pool all day, picnics,

spending more time with family, more trips to Disneyland, no curfew. I love Summer time!

My Ipad Broke!

Today is a sad day..

I am so bumbed, holding back tears! I just got my Ipad in January for my birthday and

one of my kids ( no one is fessing up) stepped on it. I think Caden did it. The whole bottom is shattered and there is a hairline crack actross the front. I called apple and they said they will replace it for $250. I don't have that kind of money to spend! I can't use it becasue the shattered pieces are loose.

Guess I wont be giving you guys awesome blog posts from the comfort of my bed for awhile ;(

Toothfairy- Fail

Ethan lost his tooth yesterday...

I had the money in my nightstand ready to put under his pillow. Well morning came and I went about my morning as usual. Woke Ethan up and I got breakfast ready. He came to me and said I wonder if the tooth fairy came in a soft voice. I instantly became flustered, almost the feeling as if you forgot to pick your child up late from school feeling. I had to come up with something quick! So I said, Ok let me go look since I have to wake the other two kids up and you eat. Well he followed me but thankfully it was to go to the bathroom. I ran, got the money and put the money under the pillow.

I told Ethan to go in his room and look, assuming he didn't look under his pillow when he woke up. It was found it and he was stunned. He said he when he woke up the tooth was there and their was no money and now the tooth was gone and money was left! He said " mom the tooth fairy tricked me, it must be April fools?". He punked me! He said he didn't look when he woke up! I feel so bad and deep down I know that he is starting to figure this whole thing out but is just playing along. I remember when I was a young kid I knew there was no such thing as the tooth fairy or Santa Clause but I pretended I did to my parents. I think that if I did say I knew there was no such thing I wouldn't get stuff anymore.

I think I was able to cover up my mess and told him the tooth fairy snuck in when he got up. Ethan is to smart though and I think he is starting to catch on.

Hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day!
We spent the day soaking up the sun!

My brother is a good uncle, making sure his nephew is safe in the pool

even though Caden knows how to swim. LOL!

Pool Fun! I was laughing because my parents have this huge nice

BBQ and still the use the charcoal one!

The we took a break to let the guys play in the garage.

Ethan rocked the guitar! My dad even brought out his bagpipes. We also played ping

pong, I kicked my brothers ass even though he said I wouldn't beat him. hahaha!

The of coarse the guys are now into air soft so we went out to the desolate desert

to shoot cans and beer bottles. It was actually pretty fun and Ethan loved it and

was actually very good!

Then we came home and Lauren wanted to

try the AirSoft gun in the backyard. Though we kept getting pelted back

because the Beebe's ricochet off the cement.

What a fun day though! It was packed with fun stuff! I absolutely love spending time with family!

Next weekend... VEGAS!!

Our Little Adventure

What a fun day I had hanging with the family yesterday! I am usually am in L.A by myself about once a week so it was nice to bring the family. I didn't get to many picts because I was enjoying the "scenery".

We ate a place called Rocos Chicken and Waffles which was the fattiest restraunt I have ever eaten at BUT the food tasted good. I can at least say I tried it and probably wouldn't go there again, plus there is not much to choose from on the menu.

Then we hung out in Hollywood and wanted to take the kids to see

the stars on the sidewalk and did some shopping and watched the performers

on the sidewalk, which is my favorite part!

We didn't spend to much time. Being in Hollywood is like being in an X-Rated film.

Not really for kids. But they enjoyed it!

She was diagnosed with Mesothelioma shortly after her daughter was born

from exposure to asbestos as a child.

You can’t parent alone.

You can’t parent alone. That whole saying, “It takes a village” is much more than a saying to me. It’s a fact that I came to accept. My baby girl was born in the summer of 2005. The pregnancy went smoothly right up until the time they wheeled me into the hospital room for an emergency C-section.
My ‘village’ of parents, in-laws and amazing friends came to greet my new daughter, Lily, almost immediately. I had a beautiful baby girl in my arms, a loving husband, and people surrounding me that loved us. Life was, in short, great.
I returned to work but nothing was going right. My energy was nonexistent. I felt breathless and tired all the time. Friends consoled me with the fact that all new moms complain of the same symptoms. Something in my gut, though, told me that it wasn’t normal. My doctor agreed. Countless tests and visits later, we found out the truth.
I was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer. This cancer is usually caused by asbestos exposure, something I was exposed to as a child. Now, as a middle-aged new mom, I was going to have to deal with this cancer and what it was doing to the lining of my lungs and my life.
I had 15 months to live without treatment, the doctor said. Passionately in love with my family, I turned to look at my husband. I couldn’t handle the thought of them having to live life alone without me. My baby girl needed me! I turned to the doctor to find out what treatments were available. I took the most drastic, most promising option I could find.
My village surrounded us instantly. My husband and I caught a plane to Boston and met with a doctor experienced with mesothelioma cancer patients. I rolled into the surgical room to have my left lung and all of the surrounding tissue removed. This wasn’t the cure, it was only the start. Recovery involved 18 days of rest before beginning chemotherapy. Radiation would be the next defense.
This was not the way I envisioned my life as a new mom. But I couldn’t have survived without the love and actions of our village. So many people came out of the woodwork to help. My parents took the main charge of raising Lily while I was in the hospital. They, in turn, had their own support system of friends and family that stepped up to help them with this major change in their lives.
A community printer was available at the hospital. My husband dutifully checked email and printed pictures of Lily having her first bite of solid food, and growing up. Nurses joined me pouring over the pictures. I cherished every picture and did my best to hold back the tears. I was fighting for my life for her.
And now, now we cherish life together as a family. Lily has an amazing bond with her grandparents, and life is good. I am thankful and I always try to live life to the absolute fullest, realizing that every day is a gift. As my favorite quote says, “Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death”

So in a week we will be going to Las Vegas for my sisters birthday! I am so excited and can't wait to have fun with family! The drive not so much, though it's only a 2 hour drive from my house. I am looking forward to pawning the kids off on my hubby ( shhh) and having some me time.

Hey.. I can dream right!

We will be staying at the Golden Nugget. We usually stick to staying at the more known popular hotels. I don't know much about the Golden Nugget but I do know they have the most awesome pool! Yes it's a shark tank and there is a slide that goes righ through it! How cool is that!

Solar Eclipse

Ok, so I was bumbed that I didn't get to see the eclipse like I thought I would. Don't get me wrong, my family and I were out side waiting to get that perfect view and I wanted to get that perfect shot. But no, the sun was so bright the whole time that we could'nt see the moon pass over. My hubby had two lenses from a pair of glasses that he put together so we can see the moon. But it still was not like I expected. We were in our home town Lake Arrowhead so you'd think we would have the best view due to us being so high in elevation and out of the smog.

Since things were not progressing we decided to take pictures. Obviously..

My family I try to eat as healthy as possible. We say no to trans fats and Ice cream and candy is

pretty non existent around our house. I was surprised this afternoon because I had left over spaghetti that I wanted to make for lunch and Caden opted out and opened the fridge and said he wanted salad for lunch.

Well it's actually spinach. Will keep that in the hush hush though..

I am speechless...

Let me first say this, if you have never been to an air show I highly recommend you do!

The amazing things these jets do will literally give you chills! We saw planes shoot straight up in the sky and stop in mid air, we saw planes do every possible flip you can think of and of coarse my favorite was the jet that can hover then jet off. It was amazing!
